Now Hiring General Laborers/Shop Helpers A local company that works with metal and fiberglass to make products for industrial applications is hiring general labor/shop helpers to join their growing team. This can be an entry level position, though someone with some experience operating machinery and equipment, especially in a metal shop environment is preferred. There is a potential to move into a fabricator and/or welder opportunity long term. Pay: $15 to $18 per hour depending on previous experience Shift: day shift, usually starting at 7am and working 8 to 10 hours, but will often start earlier in the day when needing to work longer hours. Duties Candidate will be expected to help in various aspects of the shop. This could be anything from cleaning the shop, helping machine operators, running machines, assisting welders, running equipment, or anything else needed. Candidate will be expected to be flexible and willing to help in any task. Qualifications Position will require a decent amount of heavy lifting, up to 50 lbs Position will require working in a metal shop, standing and with a lot of noise Previous experience running fabrication machinery is preferred Previous experience working in a metal shop environment is approved Interest getting into welding and/or fabricating a plus To apply, email your resume to Eric at [email protected], or call me at 971-273-4853.
