Box Truck Independent Contract Drivers Needed - Syracuse, NY Pay: $3,500.00 - $4,500.00 per week $5,000 signing bonus eligible Home Appliance & Furniture Delivery More information: Why UST? • Guaranteed routes • Paid weekly • Home every night • Daily bonus potential • Fuel incentives UST is seeking to contract with Non-CDL Independent Owner Operators in SYRACUSE, NY and surrounding areas. This is an opportunity for professional contractors with in-home delivery and/or appliance installation experience. While exact opportunities may vary based on the operation, we anticipate having loads available regularly. U.S. Transport Corporation dba UST Logistical Systems, Inc. (“UST”) is a third-party logistics company. We specialize in white glove final-mile delivery for many national furniture and appliance retailers. We contract with experienced Independent Owner Operators and drivers who can execute the cornerstone of UST’s growth and success: the expectation that every Owner Operator will Execute Excellence Every time (known internally as E3). Requirements to contract with UST include, but are not limited to: • Must be available at least five (5) days per week, including weekends • Previous in-home and appliance delivery/installation experience is preferred but not required • Own, lease, or rent your own 26’ cargo truck w/liftgate and be able operate it safely • Current valid driver’s license and clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) • Provide proof of insurance meeting UST requirements • Operate as a formally registered LLC or Corporation • Maintain an active DOT number with the FMCSA or obtain before starting • Ability to meet all DOT state and federal requirements • Business license and FEIN number • Must execute excellent customer service skills and professionalism every time • Ability to lift, carry, assemble and install appliances and/or furniture • Must own or acquire the necessary tools for delivery, assembly, and installation • High school education or the equivalent • Good verbal communication skills in English • At least 21 years of age • Provide Workers Comp/Occupational Accident coverage **This is a business opportunity for Independent Owner Operators who own and operate their own business. UST does not offer company positions for delivery drivers/Helpers, but will refer.** Job Type: Contract Pay: $3,500.00 - $4,500.00 per week *Signing bonus to be split between the 3rd settlement ($2,500) and 8th settlement ($2,500)
