Ciuffo Cabinetry is currently hiring a Factory Worker to join our team at our custom cabinetry shop in Bayport, NY. We are a custom millwork company spanning over 100 years of craftsmanship and experience in fine cabinetry. We are looking for a team-player who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has a strong work ethic and excellent references to help maintain and organize our shop. This is an important role as it will help ensure the efficiency and function of our day-to-day operations. We offer significant opportunities within our company and are looking for someone to remain and grow with our team. ***You must send a copy of your resume to the email address provided if you would like to be considered for this position*** Job responsibilities include general factory help, you will be trained in woodworking tasks including but not limited to: - Light carpentry including but not limited to door, drawer box, hinge, and track building/installation - Helping with inventory of materials and hardware as needed - Moving materials around the shop - General organization of shop stock materials - Assisting the Foreman with miscellaneous tasks and maintenance as needed - Light cleanup of shop including but not limited to: sweeping the floor, emptying dust collectors, cleaning of machines, and emptying trash - Maintaining dumpsters Requirements - Must be handy - Must be mechanically inclined – power tool experience a plus - Must be available to work full-time, with mandatory overtime and Saturdays as needed beginning early AM - Must be a team player, reliable and responsible with strong work ethic This is a full-time position, shift start time is 6AM – must be flexible with starting earlier some days.
