This summer, join us for a poetry workshop for kids ages 7-12 in Brooklyn! We are two vaccinated women who love to share the magic and mystery of poetry with young artists, focusing on craft techniques that strengthen each person’s unique creative voice. We will read poems by poets such as Lucille Clifton, Langston Hughes, and Wallace Stevens, developing our understanding of imagery, sound, and form, and write our own original work in a fun, low-stakes environment. Inspiration, art supplies, and snacks will be provided! Sunday, July 25, 1-3pm Brooklyn location TBD $50 per student
