Commercial property management company is looking for a Building Engineer to perform assigned tasks in general building maintenance. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: • Lighting & ballast replacement • Understand and have knowledge of Building Automation Systems (HVAC/Lighting/Etc) • Minor plumbing i.e. toilet & urinal repairs • Door & lock repair • Installing and hanging items and wall fixtures • Perform daily property inspections and report and address all service requests • Light janitorial duties may include: sweeping, power washing, picking up trash, cleaning up spills. EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED • High School diploma or equivalency • Valid California driver’s license • Reliable automobile and auto insurance • Must be able to speak English. • Must be able to use email. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS • Ability to lift, carry, push, pull up to 50 lbs. • The ability to climb and work from ladders, man lifts, and roofs. • The ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl or maneuver in areas of confined width and height space working in or around cramped workspaces. • The ability to work in outside temperatures all year round. Full time, Monday-Friday 6am-3pm/7am-4pm. Overtime and weekend work may be required at times.
