We are a small property management company looking for a "JACK OF ALL TRADES" kind of person... I manage about 20 properties in the Milwaukee area and I am looking for a person to do repairs and maintenance work as it is needed at our properties. This is a one person job so you must be a self starter and able to multi-task. Must know your way around heating and cooling systems such as furnaces and central air units. Must know how to do simple repairs to electrical and/or plumbing devices. Such as interior and exterior lighting and sinks and bathtubs. Must be able to diagnose problems whether or not you can fix them yourself. Must be able to replace doors and door frames, lay laminate flooring and painting, as a lot of the properties will need these repairs more regularly. Must be able to fix and/or replace drywall when needed and must be able to access the proper channels for repairs that must be contracted out. This position would be ideal for a retired carpenter or someone who has the basic know how of a general carpenter looking for some part time work. The person must be available during daytime business hours. This is somewhat flexible also as far as a start and finish time and on a need to do basis. With tenants moving in and out all the time, we obviously keep pretty busy with cleaning and getting units ready for new renters. Along with the everyday fixes that come about.
