Hastings Senior Health & Living, a 5-star rated, 72-bed long-term care center, is hiring a Full-Time Maintenance Manager to join our team! This is a Full-Time, benefit eligible position working varied hours including on-call every other weekend. Maintenance Manager responsibilities: Responsible for managing routine maintenance repairs and projects, respond to maintenance requests by residents and staff. Assist with schedules for preventative maintenance programs for major equipment and make sure it is in good operating condition. Communicate and build relationships with outside vendors to ensure contracted services are performed. Serve on Safety Committee, managing records, and reviewing surveys.  Interact with health and safety inspectors to ensure the safety of all residents and staff. Oversee and manage vehicle/ bus repairs, maintenance, upkeep, and inspections.  Respond to emergencies on an on-call basis. Complete heavy janitorial/ maintenance work as needed. Perform other tasks as needed. Maintenance Manager skills and requirements: Boiler operator license required. Previous experience in Long Term Care/ Assisted Living preferred.  Strong knowledge of building electrical systems, HVAC systems, boilers, plumbing, and water supply systems. Knowledge of MDH State and Federal Regulations and OSHA guidelines would be preferred. Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
