Turbo Auto Transport LLP is seeking a Mechanic Assistant. Job duties include the following. • Determines vehicle condition by conducting inspections and diagnostic tests; identifying worn and damaged parts. • Welding and fabrication knowledge preferred • Knowledge of hydraulics preferred, but willing to train. • Keeps equipment available for use by completing preventive maintenance schedules; installing component and part upgrades; controlling corrosion; completing winterization procedures. • Must have knowledge in tire repair and replacement. • Must have knowledge in oil changes and servicing equipment. • Maintains vehicle appearance by cleaning, washing, and painting. • Maintains vehicle records by annotating services and repairs. • Keeps supplies ready by inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt.
