As a Construction Supervisor you will have the proficiency to work independently and exercise judgment without direct supervision and be responsible for every aspect of a project including but not limited to: • Managing and coordinating daily construction operations o Preconstruction Meetings o Bid reviews o Construction/Project Schedule, and Budget o Scheduling and supervision of subcontractors and field crew employees o Regular meetings o Quality Assurance, adherence to applicable regulations and safety standards • Prepare subcontracts in conformance to architect drawings, specifications, code compliance, safety and timeliness of Construction/Project Schedule. • Review of subcontractor invoices, change orders, field crew timesheets and code with the appropriate job costs. • Quality control of work performed to ensure safety and quality of work, adherence to Homeowner’s Association Guidelines and client/homeowner requests. • Regular communication of the project status and milestones via in person meetings, written correspondence and onsite project visits in a clear concise and professional manner. • Meet project schedule deadlines. The Supervisor will lead in the field to achieve successful goals, while executing all related activity in a safe and organized manner. Supervisors drive schedules, are skilled to develop productivity plans based on contract budget and schedules, in addition to leading subcontractor and field crews to achieve productivity and quality performance. Successful Supervisors have significant experience in all phases of construction and the ability to maintain positive relationships. Minimum Qualifications: • Minimum 5 years' experience in residential field construction supervision, project management, or in a related area. This encompasses scheduling, material take offs, procurement, correspondence, preparing subcontractor contracts, field supervision, quality control, and production of all phases of preferred residential construction. • Working knowledge in all areas of residential construction practices and terminology. Ability to read and understand blueprints, architectural drawings, construction documents, regulations, concepts, practices, trade base, and procedures. Skills and Abilities: • Manage time effectively, multi-task, and prioritize in order to meet established goals & deadlines. • Computer proficiency required with Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, Project, homebuilding software and web/email communications. • Analytical, with ability to identify and resolve problems. Excellent organizational, leadership & communication skills and maintaining professional positive relationships.
