Looking for a guitarist for an original alt.-rock project. Think 90's era power-pop with a hint of the Minutemen thrown in. We are a continuation of another project and are looking for someone who will help round out our sound. I primarily play rhythm guitar and am looking for a "lead" player....don't have to be a solo god, but someone to help layer the sound. Backing vocals would also be great. We recently auditioned a bassist and are in the beginning stages of writing material. We are looking to create some songs to make an EPK. We all have families, so this is not a touring band. The goal is to practice once a week, do a show once a month (or every two months), and record. Disclaimer: not looking to form a cover band or touring band. If that's what you're looking for, this probably isn't the project for you.
