I've been teaching in Washoe County for 23 years. Seventeen of them in the middle school as a math teacher. I created a summer tutoring program that will prepare students for high school Algebra. In the program I retaught the concepts students need to know to be successful in Algebra. Those concepts include solving equations, graphing liner functions, and solving systems of equations. I created 15 interactive videos where students learn with me, practice concepts on their own, and correct and learn from their mistakes with me. I spiral their learning so students master the concepts by the time they finish the 15 videos. This program includes a flash drive of the lessons, a packet of worksheets to go with the lessons, instructions on how to best use and learn from the lessons, and a packet of worked out answers for parents to see.
