4th of July Fireworks trash pick up - Ah-Nab-Awen Park

Would you like to listen to live music, eat festival food from food trucks and see the fabulous fireworks display downtown Grand Rapids? Fourth of July fireworks are back this year at Ah-Nab-Awen Park (220 Front Ave. NW Grand Rapids, MI 49504). We are looking for a handful of individuals, small groups, or non-profits to help me clean up the trash left behind by the spectators on Saturday, July 3rd. Fireworks will start at 10:30ish and end at around 11 pm. I (Ken) will be onsite early and leave late to ensure that all of the trash left behind is completely cleared. I will have all the supplies you need to pick up trash. Just bring comfortable clothing, a smile, and water to drink. I will pay ($60) per person at the end of their shift. Please contact me ahead of time to let me know you are interested. Let me know how many people and which shift you would like. I have two shifts available: 8:00-10:30 2 1/2 hrs - for those who would like to work until the fireworks or 9:30-12:30 2 1/2 hrs (30 mins for fireworks spectating) for those who want to work before and after the fireworks. Unfortunately, I cannot accommodate parking but can offer suggestions or you may find your own spot.
