We are hiring full time general janitorial staff. This is a perfect job for someone looking for full time work with benefits! Responsibilities/Tasks may include, but are not limited to: • Restroom cleaning • Office cleaning • Vacuum carpeted areas • General floor cleaning • Trash removal • Disinfecting • Dusting • Additional duties as assigned Benefits: • Medical Insurance • Paid Vacation Requirements: • Can work a set schedule with 2 days off during the week (weekends and holidays are required workdays) • Follows instructions and is eager to learn • Possesses a positive attitude and strong work ethic • Must be able to walk or stand for the duration of the 8-hour shift • Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, squat, twist, reach, pull, push and lift up to 25 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally • Must be able to pass a background check. (While a criminal background does not disqualify a candidate, the City of Houston does not approve badge access for any person who is currently on probation/parole or who has an open court case) • Must be authorized to work in the United States Equal Opportunity Employer
