His name is Cosmo and we rescued him over a year ago from a pretty horrible pet shop in California. They didn’t know his history and said he may have been a breeder bird prior to us getting him. He is very attached to wherever he roosts and doesn’t want to come down without bribing for treats. His handling ability is minimal to only coming onto your arm for treats and then he will retreat. We don’t have the expanded amount of time to turn his demeanor around after working with him throughout this year.
He may make a great pet to someone who has adequate amounts of time and determination to turn him around. He may even just make a great breeder bird for someone as he is big and beautiful. We are looking for a reasonable rehoming fee of 4,000.00.
We would also be willing to discuss trades for the following weened hatchlings:
Scarlett Macaw
Blue and gold macaw
African Grey
Hyacinth
