Due to my schedule we need to re-home my daughter's Axolotl. We are asking a $100 rehoming fee that will include the tank and tools to clean the tank. Axolotls are fairly high maintenance, they need certain things to survive. They will live a long time if taken care of. Please make sure you are ok with the following before responding? 1/ The tank needs to be vacuumed and about half the water needs to be changed out every few weeks. This means filling two 5 gallon buckets of water and letting sit for 24rs to dechlorinate, then vacuuming out droppings and about half the water, then replacing. The plants, filter and shelter also need to be rinsed out. I am including everything needed to do so and will explain more thoroughly in person. 2/ She eats one nighcrawler every day. Those are easy to find at Walmart, Bimart, or almost any pet store. 3/ The water needs to stay between 60-69 degrees. They are cold water animals. I am including a fan that mnounts to the tank. I had to put ice packs in the water during the heat this past week. Thank you!
