Whip N Spur Trash Company Position: Driver Pay: Starts at $12.25/hr / 25 hours per week Essential Duties & Responsibilities: • Safely drives and operates equipment on assigned routes collecting waste under a variety of weather conditions. • Perform a pre/post trip inspection and report items requiring maintenance. • Maintain a neat and professional appearance. • Communicates with office or company owner concerning delays, problematic sites, accidents, equipment breakdowns, and other service or maintenance related issues. • Garbage collection work involves heavy lifting and exposures to unpleasant odors, machinery with moving parts, and noise. Must be able to perform job duties and possess the physical abilities. Requirements: • Must have a valid State of Arizona Driver's License. • Must provide clean motor vehicle report and be approved by our insurance company • Must have authorization to legally work in the United States. • Ability to repeatedly lift, move, and carry heavy objects weighing sixty (60) pounds. • Ability to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with other personnel and the public. • Ability to understand and carry out verbal and written instructions and to work independently in the absence of supervision. • Reliable and Dependable. • Must be a team player and work well under minimal supervision.
