I am a singer-songwriter and guitar player working with a multi-instrumentalist who is currently MIDI programming drums for recordings. We are looking for a drummer diverse tastes to record on project; eventually to play live. I'm pasting a playlist on our soundcloud page. These are the current project tracks we are working on. Looking for thoughtful, kind, communicative person. Big influences in the songwriting realm are Jeff Tweedy, Townes Van Zandt, Neil Young, and Lucinda Williams--either pretty heady cerebral stuff or straightforward empathetic tunes. In terms of the actual music, we're after more of a spacey vibe, cool licks or phrases on the electric guitar, ukulele, or cuatro. Kurt Vile and the Violators and My Morning Jacket come to mind.
