The candidate chosen for the Marina Assistant/Porter Position must have a positive get the job done attitude and be willing and able to work outdoors in all kinds of weather conditions This position is responsible for performing a variety of tasks involving all aspects of facilities maintenance and upkeep. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform all general repair and maintenance related to the marina Maintain and clean, docks, walkways, grounds, and other areas designated by management Checks pool for cleanliness, appearance, chemical balance, and safety Handle trash removal and maintain the cleanliness of trash areas; Removes litter and debris from the ground and in the water around boat slips Developing and maintaining effective, friendly, professional working relationships with staff, tenants, owners, and vendors Carry out duties and responsibilities assigned by the manager Availability to work weekends and varying times If you are a self-motivated person that likes working with your hands and likes working outdoors this could be the job for you.
