Dogs at Wake County Shelter - waiting for homes

I'm a volunteer dog walker at the Wake County Animal Shelter and wanted to post about all the wonderful dogs that are currently there waiting on a family to adopt them. We have just about every breed, size, color and personality you could ask for. Some dogs have been at the shelter for several months and need to get out of the kennels. They will also be there over the long holiday weekend without getting walks which is very tough on the house-trained dogs. Please come out and see if you can find that special dog you've been looking for.
