Hello! We are looking for a new person to replace our awesome current girl who is moving to California in a few weeks. If you want to just be a sewing person that can be a separate job. The gift shop position is a follows: A take charge really responsible person to make candles, bath salts, lip balm, soap.. If you can sew a little it is a plus. It’s a lot of different things, see below. My current girl will train you to do most of it but some experience with being crafty and good eye/hand coordination is needed. Basically looking for someone who wants to take charge of the making of things here completely so you can work here on your own without supervision. We may open this up to be a walk in store as it is zoned to do so, especially for the holiday season. You would be responsible then to teach any new people that come on board so your communication skills and ability to work with other people would be important. Over the next 2-3 weeks my current girl would train you in how to do everything. For now it's part time. Currently hours are 3x a week 9:30-3, Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. It pays $15 hr to start. If you want to help expand the store with other skills like listing products on our site, computer skills, or have marketing experience etc the sky is the limit, just let us know. We are expanding so it would move to more days as needed. Duties Include: -Making bath and beauty products for gift boxes -Printing -Stuffing pillow inserts into pillow covers -Package pillows as needed (box, bag, gift note, gift wrap) -Pick candles and spa products to pack up gift boxes -Package gift boxes as needed -Filling and labeling spa products in jars, vials, putting on soap sleeves -Sewing if you can -General shop clean up (break down boxes, put out to recycle etc) Please read the above carefully and respond letting us know why you are a good fit for this job.
