Property management company looking for a full time porter or handyman to assist at Residential Apartment buildings. Position Overview: Responsibilities of the Porter involve the upkeep of the property in order to enhance and maintain its cleanliness and safety. The Porter is responsible for maintenance and making sure the property is in good standing. The primary goal of this position is to provide attention to the appearance of common areas for a safe and adequate working environment. The duties will include interacting/ communicating with tenants, general maintenance, sanitation duties and basic working knowledge of the building systems and undertake routine checks, etc. - Experience sweeping, mopping hallways, floors and stairs. - Knowledge in janitorial duties and small repairs. - Keeping good relations with resident owners, tenants and staff. - Must be extremely detail oriented. - Self-motivated & proactive.
