For over 12 years we have hired reliable, customer service-focused technicians who have an eye for detail and an outgoing personality. What We Do We provide professional dryer vent consultation and service work including cleaning, repair, rerouting, and maintenance services using expert procedures and the highest quality materials and products. We service residential, multi-units and commercial locations. Why We Do It In 2010 (the last year measured) there were 16,800 dryer fires in the US. Many dryer vent systems are poorly installed, clogged, and use sub-standard materials and products. This can lead not only to risk of fire, but inefficient clothes drying, damage to dryers and the buildup of mold and mildew, among other issues. We make a difference in our community by helping to prevent these problems. About You As a Dryer Vent Wizard service technician, you are a key member of our team responsible for bringing customer’s dryer vent systems up to code, making them safer and more efficient. You will build customer relationships and uphold our standard of outstanding customer service. You have worked (or just trained) in the trades or you are just handy, know your way around a toolbox, like to solve problems and are willing to learn. You have strong communication skills, like to interact with people, and can articulate information to supervisors, employees, and customers professionally. You are detail-oriented and are committed to providing a great customer experience. You are self-motivated and independent, but also a team player. You are reliable, punctual, and can manage your time effectively to meet deadlines. What We Offer A respectful, independent work environment with a strong earnings opportunity and a good amount personal autonomy. • Earnings with a guaranteed base of $30K ($15/hr.) but with successful techs earning more than $70,000 ($30/hr.+) • Fully outfitted, branded company provided van that (after a period of time) you may be able to bring home with you after work. • Paid training and Certification. • Paid major holidays Responsibilities: • Always present yourself in a professional manner, including the proper use of our company uniform. • Provide the customer with a complete dryer vent system inspection and assessment. • Recommend product and services needed based on inspection results. Educate the customer as to the features, benefits and reasons for your recommendation. • Answer questions, provide thorough responses, and receive agreement on work to be done. • Professionally service the customer’s dryer vent system as indicated by inspection results. • Accurately and legibly provide assessment and invoice, or take payment digitally (as applicable). • Keep company vehicle and equipment properly serviced, clean, and in good working order/condition. Skills / Qualifications: • Experience or training in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, construction, carpentry or handyman work. • Experience and strong comfort level working with tools. • Ability to climb and handle ladders over 20 feet in height. • Ability to work within constricted spaces such as attics, crawlspaces, or closets. • Ability to work on rooftops. • Ability to work independently and problem solve. • Ability to work required business hours and weekends when necessary. • Ability to effectively communicate with customers, management and team members.
