You will work closely with other professionals to form a highly effective team which attends to the administrative tasks of the office. You will be an integral part of the team with a wide range of responsibilities and opportunities for learning and growth. Qualifications and Skills The most important requirement of this position is the ability to genuinely serve our patients on every level, including the ability to enhance patient satisfaction and increase office efficiency. You must be able to positively impact patients, coworkers, referring offices and the practice as a whole. We have found that successful candidates have the following work and educational histories: Completion of high school or equivalent.Previous administrative, dental or medical experience.Proven track record of growth or improvement within your position.Ability to multi-task and be a self-starter.Experienced with customer service techniques.Superior communication skills.Surgical Assistant/Technician Your days to day responsibilities include assisting the surgeon during consultation and surgery appointments. We have found that successful candidates have the following work and educational histories: Ability to positively impact patients, referrals, teammates and the practice as a whole.Registered Dental Assistant with at least 1 year of experience.Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery experience is a plus.Proven track record of growth.Experienced with customer service techniques.Superior communication skills.Central Scheduling Specialist The Central Scheduling Specialist reports to the Sr. Manager of Operations and is responsible for managing multi-line, high volume calls, accurately review medical records and schedule patients for multiple surgeons. In addition, building relationships with referring practices will be an essential role while also verifying patient insurance. Qualifications and Skills Prepares, maintains, and monitors schedule for multiple providers.Resolves scheduling conflicts by filling canceling and rescheduling appointments to assure schedules are full.Produces and process schedules and reports as they are requested by administrative staff.Exercising or carrying out a variety of admin duties and responsibilities as requiredEnsuring the integrity and accuracy of all information held on the scheduling system and related intranet applications.Completion of high school or equivalent.Previous administrative and/or scheduling experience (preferable in the medical or dental field).Proven track record of growth or improvement within your position.Experienced with customer service techniques.Superior communication skills.Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.Must have computer skills; be proficient with Microsoft office software.Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.Minimum of 2-3 years’ of previous experience in dental front office and direct customer serviceAbout UsAustin Oral Surgery provides the highest-quality oral surgery care in the Austin area.
