The Edgewater Chamber of Commerce welcomes 2 Brown Sisters Edutainment as the opening band for this weekend-long evet! The Edgewater Chamber of Commerce is excited to bring back Bands On Broadway as a larger scale event this year that brings the celebration to every corner of the community and well Beyond Broadway! Join us on Friday, July 23 for 2 Brown Sisters Edutainment, and exciting and educational musical journey. Maggie and Africa Brown have been collaborating for years, but officially named their duet activities 2Brown Sisters in 2015. They are committed to getting more Brownhouse material out into the world by conducting workshops and residencies which inspire responsible entertainment choices, etiquette, anti-violence, anti-teen pregnancy, inter-generational communication, and music and spoken word creation. The sisters record their own original material and songs of their father’s, Oscar Brown III. Performance Time: 7:00-9:00pm Pre-show by Low Ceiling Circus: 6pm In lieu of festival vendors, we are encouraging attendees to order food and beverage from neighboring restaurants to bring along with them to enjoy at the show! Some participating restaurants will even delivery right to the concert where there will be hosted delivery area to receive it. There will be a limited number of chairs available, but attendees are welcome to bring along their favorite lawn chair to lounge in. This show is good for all ages. No alcohol, please.
