Job Description: Set-Up and operate all electrolytic cutoff machines to cut material to specified dimensions with minimum or no supervision. Follow job order specifications such as material, type and size of stock and dimensions to be cu. Obtain and transfer stock to machines, Install saw blades and wheels, and sets cutting speed for specified operations, sets stops, guides clamps and feeds fixture to control dimensions of cut using Vernier’s and micrometers to inspect part, etc. Experience and Required Skills: Committed to quality, safety and communication Team-oriented Flexible and able to adapt to change based on work demand Blue print reading skills High School Diploma or equivalent English reading & writing Mathematic Aptitude Mechanical aptitude Ability to operate more than one saw Prior experience in similar job Oral & Written communication skills Ability to use tape measure computer skills Ability to operate more than one saw Capacity to solve complex problems Ability to Stand, walk, bend and climb Capable of lifting 50 lbs. on regular bases High level of manual dexterity Good mechanical aptitude Job Location: 45. South Pay Rate: 2y + $15.00 up an hour depending on experience 3y + $18.00 up Shift: Mon – Fri 7 am to 4:00 pm. Occasional weekends Duration: Employment is temp to hire Requirements: Must communicate with shift supervisor. Must have transportation Able to work 8 – 10 hour shifts. Able to stand for long periods of time.
