VIP Destin Magazine is a social and events-centric magazine that communicates the sites, energy, people, and businesses that weave the fabric and culture of our area. We are seeking part time, contract only, event photographers. Apply for this job if you have a flexible schedule, have an outgoing personality, and are eager to share your skills with our readers. Must be good with a camera and good with people. Must be willing to work events that take place on weekends and evenings. Often, a gig lasts for less than one hour. A flat fee is paid for each event. The job entails taking photos and getting the names of subjects having fun at events, businesses, and community gatherings. Also, the photographer must write a 150-300 word 'story' describing the event. Photo and writing credit will be published. Images from the events will often be used as the magazine cover image.
