PORT WASHINGTON, NY — Grab your blankets, lawn chairs, and picnic baskets — because North Hempstead's summer concert series is back. After more than a year of pandemic stagnation, the free outdoor series promises to be jam-packed with live music, family-friendly activities, and theatrical performances. All of the events are free to residents. "North Hempstead is excited to offer a slate of exciting events this summer," said Town Supervisor Judi Bosworth. "This is the perfect opportunity to spend time outdoors at one of our parks with your friends and family." The fun starts July 1.
