SOMERVILLE, MA — One of metro Boston's busiest highways got the Hollywood treatment Wednesday. A production company shot a movie on I-93 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., MassDOT said. Filming took place in Boston, Charlestown and Somerville. Scenes were shot from inside a car driven by an actor and a truck with a camera on the front and back ends, MassDOT said. A spokesperson for the agency said it did not have any information about the movie being filmed. Filming took place with the flow of traffic, so all lanes remained open. MassDOT warned of possible "curiosity" slowdowns.
