Re Americans cause immigration

We need legal immigration and if work needs exceed supply then we can and have issued temporary workers visas. That’s the sensible and lawful process. What you (or whoever it was) posted yesterday was calling for unfettered and unlimited immigration with no quotas or limits. This is illogical and incredibly damaging to our nation. Just because an illegal immigrant pays taxes is only half the equation. The other half is how much state services his family demands in schooling, welfare, medical care. Added to this the negative effects of a certain percentage being criminal and we are most definitely suffering as a nation (studies show this not just my opinion). Trying to reason with you is like beating my head on a wall with a thick pillow as a cushion. While it doesn’t cause sharp pain it leaves me feeling numb and disoriented. Liberal logic: controlled and regulated immigration is beneficial = uncontrolled immigration and open borders is wonderful and really, really, really, really, really good.
