Hill and Florida Citrus Sports to Celebrate Opening of Renovated Lake Lorna Doone Park  WHAT:   Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer, District 5 City Commissioner Regina I. Hill and Florida Citrus Sports will join residents to cut the ribbon and celebrate the opening of Lake Lorna Doone Park after renovations.  Located next to Camping World Stadium in the West Lakes neighborhoods, the 12-acre park has been renovated into a space where residents can gather to exercise, play, relax and connect to create community. Lake Lorna Doone Park is now home to the first inclusive playground for use by children of all abilities and water spray splash pad area at a City of Orlando park. Improvements to the park also include a walking loop and the installation of fitness stations, a pavilion and two basketball courts.  The renovation was made possible through a partnership with the City of Orlando and Florida Citrus Sports. Corporate and philanthropic partners including the National Football League, the Orlando Magic, Collage, Wayne Densch Charities, OUC-The Reliable One, the Arnold and Winnie Palmer Foundation and the College Football Playoff Foundation also contributed to the improvements.  The renovation was made possible through a partnership with the City of Orlando and Florida Citrus Sports.
