APPLY IN PERSON - POSITION STARTS JULY 26TH Position Purpose: The scale house clerk position is to receive trucks, input data from sheller, file paperwork, create lots, make folders, receive and tag samples ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Inputting tags creating H-lots calculating pounds and making folders • Weighing trucks inputting truck tags • Tagging samples and separating by lot to have ready for grading in a timely manner • Filing truck tags and huller tags by numerical order and by lot • Help with any Huller related task as directed by the Supervisor • Follows and ensures adherence to established Hilltop Ranch, Inc. local, state, and federal regulations and requirements as well as food safety, sanitation, food production and nutritional guidelines. • Establishes and ensures adherence to procedures and standards, which are in agreement with these regulations, requirements and guidelines. • Ability to follow, comply and enforce all safety policies and procedures • Responsibilities are not limited to the above mentioned and may include assisting other departments within reasonable and related tasks. QUALIFICATIONS • Basic to intermediate computer skills required • Able to work extended hours and weekends as needed • Must be able to pass a physical and drug test SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES • Bilingual (English / Spanish) required • Ability to work with groups, team-oriented personality • Organizational, computer, typing and mathematical skills PHYSICAL DEMANDS • Will occasionally stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle and feel, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear, taste and smell. • Will frequently sit and occasionally climb or balance and stoop, kneel crouch or crawl. • Must use both hands for rapid mental muscular coordination, simultaneously. • Must be able to reach high and low levels, frequently. • Must be able to push/pull/lift with arms below waist/at shoulder/above shoulder level up to 60 pounds frequently. • Must lift with arms up to floor to waist, waist to shoulder 60 pounds. • Must be able to constantly stand/stoop/walk/bend, up to 12 hours/throughout the shift. • Ability to strenuous flex/grip with wrist/hands frequently (15 flexion/minute). WORK ENVIRONMENT • May work near moving mechanical parts. • May work around wet or humid conditions, in high, precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, high noise levels, outdoor weather conditions, extreme cold (non-weather), extreme heat (non-weather), risk of electrical shock, and/or risk of vibration.
