Unconscious Child Pulled From Water At Norwalk Beach: Police

NORWALK, CT — A child was found unconscious in the water at Calf Pasture Beach and taken to a hospital Tuesday, according to police. Police Sgt. Sofia Gulino said the child, who was at the beach with a guardian, was pulled from the water by a lifeguard and emergency medical care was initiated. Police, fire and emergency medical service crews responded to the beach and the child was taken to Norwalk Hospital. The child's parents were notified at the time of the incident, Gulino said.
