Description
Stress Less Fest is the fun-filled break our community deserves after this pandemic, 100% of proceeds support local mental health nonprofit. While we have all had unique experiences over the last year, the pandemic has taken a toll on the mental and emotional wellness of many. Our community deserves a break and some fun. Stress Less Fest is just that, a celebration of community resiliency and finally being able to congregate in person. Old and new friends are all welcome to join Stress Less Fest on September 25th, 2021 from 11AM-2PM at Wadeview Park (2177 Summerlin Ave, Orlando, FL 32806)! This event will feature bounce houses, live music, and various stations to de-stress! Event will open with a communal scream ceremony. From there you are welcome to enjoy our live music and performances on the lawn (blankets recommended) or you can check out our many stress less booths that include a sound proof scream station, bounce houses, art activities, and more! Food will be available for purchase. Be sure to also check out the event's mental health resource fair and silent auction! We recommend a $10 donation to Peer Support Space to enter. $125 VIP tickets are available for exclusive access to front row stage seating and entrance to our Zen Zone with food platters, therapy dogs, massages, take home comfort items, and more! The best part? 100% of proceeds go to supporting Peer Support Space's free emotional wellness resources, a vital resource supporting those struggling mentally with the ramifications of COVID and with acclimating to a new normal, once again. Since PSS was founded in 2019, the grassroots organization has built a community of over 8,000 individuals. The Orlando-based nonprofit has been featured in the news over 25 times. During COVID, PSS began emergency mental health support services that were used over 6,000 times across 10 states and 8 countries. Peer Support Space (PSS) is 100% led for and by those with lived experience navigating mental health challenges. The organization aims to build peer-led recovery communities of shared lived experience while focusing on LGBTQ+, Black, Latinx, disabled, and other communities that have a historic distrust of traditional mental health services or a lack of access to culturally affirming care. Additional information about available stress less booths and performers coming soon!
