Press release from Town of Hamden: June 30, 2021 TRASH & RECYCLING COLLECTION FOR WEEK OF JULY 5TH TO PROCEED AS SCHEDULED NO HOLIDAY DELAY TRANSFER STATION CLOSED FRIDAY JULY 2nd OPEN SATURDAY JULY 3rd Hamden, CT - The Town of Hamden is advising all residents that trash & recycling collection for the week of July 5th will proceed as regularly scheduled. There will not be a delay/interruption in pickups due to the 4th of July holiday. Please share with your subscribers: https://www.hamden.com/CivicAlerts.aspx?AID=346 Additionally, Town of Hamden offices including the Transfer Station will be closed on Friday, July 2nd in observance of Juneteenth Day, as the Town was unable to observe the Holiday on June 18th. While closed this Friday, the Hamden Transfer Station will now be open on the first Saturday of each month, starting this Saturday, July 3rd. Hours of operation on Saturdays will be 8:00am - 11:45am. The Transfer Station is located at 231 Wintergreen Avenue, Hamden, CT 06518.
