Press release from Town of Hamden: June 30, 2021 The Town of Hamden is advising the general public that Town offices will be closed Friday, July 2nd, in recognition of Juneteenth 2021. President Biden declared the day a National Holiday on June 17th. Since the Town was unable to properly observe the holiday by closing town offices on June 18th we will honor it by closing on July 2nd. Next year, the Town of Hamden will observe Juneteenth on Monday, June 20, 2022. Offices will re-open on July 6th. This press release was produced by Town of Hamden.
