All individuals arrested or charged with a crime are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. REPORTS ROBBERY, 2021-06290227, 1800 block of N. Lynn Street. At approximately 11:28 p.m. on June 30, police were dispatched to the report of a late assault. Upon arrival, it was determined that at approximately 10:00 p.m. the suspect entered a restaurant and took a to-go bag for another customer. When an employee confronted the suspect outside the store, the suspect pushed, spit on and attempted to strike the employee. The suspect then fled the scene on foot. The suspect is described as a Black male, 5'8" tall, 140 lbs with short hair and a goatee. The investigation is ongoing. BURGLARY, 2021-06290057, 4000 block of N. Pershing Drive. At approximately 9:13 a.m. on June 29, police were dispatched to the late report of a larceny. Upon arrival, it was determined that an unknown suspect gained entry to the victim's residence and stole cash and a credit card. There is no suspect(s) description. The investigation is ongoing.
