CU Boulder Ends Mask Mandate, Regardless Of Vaccination Status

BOULDER, CO — The University of Colorado Boulder's mask mandate ends Thursday, officials announced. Students, staff and faculty will no longer be required to wear masks, regardless of their vaccination status; however, masks are recommended for those who aren't fully vaccinated, the university said in an announcement Tuesday. Exceptions include health care settings, childcare settings, youth camps and public transit, where masks will still be required, officials said. For the fall, all undergraduate and graduate students will need to complete the COVID-19 vaccine reporting requirements, the university's announcement read. The reporting deadline is Sept. 15. Around 70 percent are fully immunized.
