Guitarist/vocalist seeking other musicians to form band

Hello! I am a 28yo guitarist and vocalist with 12 years of experience playing music, and about 7 years experience playing in, managing, and booking bands for paying gigs. I moved to Asheville in April and am ready to find other bandmates to get a rocking group together, kick ass and take the cash. I am currently looking for drums and a bass player, maybe keys or another guitarist if we can get them, but a power trio would be ideal for communication, setup time, band footprint (which may exclude us from playing smaller venues if we were too large) and transportation. I write a lot of originals and would like to rehearse those and perform them as part of our set, but I also realize the power a good cover can have and would like to add some deepcuts to the set as well. I primarily play rock, blues and funk, but don't shy away from punk, metal, or bossa nova stuff either. Music is my passion and I would like to get a gigging band together now that the pandemic is over so we can make it our fulltime profession since Asheville is a music city and its totally doable with a little elbow grease and practice. Having said that, this group and anybody applying, should be about fun, first and foremost. If we aren't having fun, then we may as well hang up the dream and get some lame cashiering job or something mundane and safe.
