By Elizabeth Ireland, Times of San Diego June 30, 2021 San Diego County public health officials reported 82 new COVID-19 infections Tuesday and no deaths from the pandemic disease. Of 5,595 tests reported by the county in the past day, 1.5% returned positive. The 14-day rolling average percentage of positive cases ticked up to 1.1%. The county's total number of coronavirus cases since 2020 grew to 282,498. The death toll remained at 3,780. Meanwhile, the number of fully vaccinated residents rose to 1,863,879 million, putting the county at 88.7% of the goal to vaccinate 2.1 million people ages 12 and older.
