What Will I Be Doing?  Diagnose and repair mechanical, recommended, warranty and other safety-oriented issues in a timely manner, every time, and as promised  Perform multi-point inspections, maintenance and service related repairs to include, but not limited to, engines, transmissions, air-condition, timing belts, radiators, gaskets, braking systems, etc.  Document the work performed consistent with Bureau of Automotive Repair (BAR) guidelines  Ensure work space is clean and safe at all times  Create and maintain loyal service customer relationships Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Individual should possess:  Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent required  Graduation from a recognized Automotive / Technical School  Prior automotive technician work experience, factory trained and/or manufacturer certified is preferred  Self-motivated, goal-oriented, enthusiastic presence with an ability to work effectively and efficiently in a team environment.  Ability to apply a common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.  Work effectively and efficiently as an individual and in a team environment.  Have and maintain an excellent driving record.  Professional appearance and work ethic  All potential employees must pass pre-employment testing including a background check and drug screen Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
