The purpose of this employee would be to do all the cleaning that needs to be done on a daily basis of the glassware, equipment, trash, and common spaces. This role is critical to the success of our quickly expanding, highly innovative biotech company. Job Responsibilities -Wash laboratory glassware and other lab items -Put away glassware -Receive deliveries (open packages, give contents to appropriate person, trash all packing materials) -Take out trash and recycling -Clean lunch room after lunch (sweep floors, wipe down tables and chairs, clean counters, wipe out microwaves) -Wash lunch silverware and dishes -Receive lunch deliveries and store in refrigerators -Supervise any visitors such as plumbers, repair technician, etc. -Wash and restock laundry, laundry machines are provided on site -Restock all paper products at sinks and bathrooms -Clean floors as needed midweek between janitorial staff cleanings -Wipe down common space counters at the end of each day -Wipe down equipment daily, dust off equipment as needed -Clean lab microwaves daily -Open and Close the front gates Applicant Requirements -Must be able to stand for multiple hours, the majority of this job will be standing or walking -Must be able to lift 20 pound boxes -Must be punctual with a positive work attitude -Must have a willingness to take on new tasks -Must be detail oriented -Must be careful as a large portion of this job will require working with or around glassware and sensitive laboratory equipment. -Willingness to use personal vehicle for errands is a benefit, reimbursement for cost of use will be provided. Ability to drive a stick shift pick up truck is a benefit.
