Starting pay $16.25 with incentives increasing pay to $30, retention bonuses of $500 at 6 months and $1000 at 1 year of employment. Compiles and maintains records of quantity, type, and value of material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies stocked in establishment by performing the following duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Read customer order to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed. Work with the Inventory System to properly select store orders. Convey product from storage area to designated shipping areas. Sort and place product or items on pallets or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, or product code. Fill requisitions or requests for stock items. Assemble customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves ensuring that product is not damaged. Shrink wrap product on pallet according to procedure. Mark products or items with identifying information. Use computer to enter records. Compile information to complete credit memo regarding items and quantity from customer specifications. Drive pallet jack to transport stored items from warehouse to plant or to pick up items from several locations for shipment. Perform additional job functions as requested by warehouse management member. Follow Company's attendance policy by coming to work on time and when scheduled. Follow Company's safety policies and procedures. Operates equipment in a safe manner at all times. Other duties as may be assigned or required. Education/Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Language Ability: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Math Ability: Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance. Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Inventory software; and Internet software systems. Certificates and Licenses: Ability to successfully pass Industrial Equipment Certification testing on all equipment used to complete this job. Physical Demands: The associate must regularly lift and /or move up to 80 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision, Distance vision, Peripheral vision, Depth perception and Ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this Job, the associate is regularly required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear.
