Hiring a Part-Time Family Assistant We are looking for our family’s new right-hand person! About Us Mom and Dad both work from home, and our two children are in school during the day. We have reached a point in our careers where we need to fully focus during the day on work, and then be able to leave our offices and have the home management taken care of. Ideally this position will grow, but we ask for at least a 1 year commitment with the hours/schedule outlined and will honor that same commitment with our new hire if both parties are happy. We are a very easy going family but value privacy, kindness, anticipating needs, trust, self direction and flexibility. About The Job We really need a jack/jill of all trades for 15 hours/week starting with... Laundry- wash/dry/fold/put away Clean floors Make beds / change sheets once a week Dust + Pick up/straighten up Dishes + counters Bathrooms Errands (e.g. grocery shopping, shipping items, etc) Chop vegetables + fruit for snacks and sometimes lunches Meal planning Cooking dinner Upkeep of current organization Deep cleaning tasks Not everything on this list will need to be done during each visit, I will provide a daily and weekly schedule of what I would like done, and when. Hours will be Monday through Friday from 10am until approximately 2pm. About You We need someone that LOVES helping others. You take pride and joy in keeping the house looking beautiful + organized so that when we are done working at the end of the day, we don’t have to deal with a mess. No job is too small, and you look for ways to anticipate our family’s needs, and trying to make sure we are always set up for success. We also need someone who is comfortable with meal planning, and cooking healthy, clean meals. I have a lot of recipes and cookbooks with meals that we already love. For example: Notice when my toiletries were running out and replaced them without my asking Keeping favorite snacks, fruits and veggies prepped Unpack our suitcases when we got back from a trip + did all laundry Organized toys If this isn’t the kind of person you are or want to be for our family, then this isn’t the position for you. We highly value our family assistants. Pay & Perks 1.5 weeks paid time off per year (first week after 90 days and next 3 days after 6 months) $19/hr with pay increase after 90 days Health insurance reimbursement after 6 months * If there’s interest, we can increase hours a little more and give you personal assistant tasks we currently have another virtual assistant doing such as booking appointments, travel, research, etc. Not required though!
