POSTION SUMMARY The Quest Installer/Driver is a customer service position, with an emphasis on reliability and determination. The responsibilities are operating Quest box trucks and vans, safely loading and unloading Quest gear, dropping off/picking up Quest crews to event venues. The Driver will demonstrate safe driving skills, staying customer-focused, and display a strong work ethic. Further responsibilities include setting and striking drape, furniture, and hardware at event venues, working with and as part of a team of installers. Workload varies from 0-30+ hours per week based on volume and availability. The successful part-time Installer will demonstrate strong leadership skills by taking the initiative, staying customer-focused, display a strong work ethic while on the jobsite and be able to execute consecutive events. PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES Deliver outstanding customer service Deliver and pick-up gear/crew to event venues Load and unload Quest vehicles at the warehouse and on jobsites Set and strike drape and hardware at event venues JOB REQUIREMENTS 1. Education High School diploma or GED required 2. Experience Prior customer service-related job experience preferred but not required Prior Box Truck / Van driving background Understanding of hotel/convention docks 3. Skills Driving—Able to drive Quest light-duty vans. Pass Quest-generated written and practical driving tests given by GM or PM and must be able to pass a DOT Physical. Driver must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record (no DUI’s, etc.). Leadership – Lead a team of installers on a set and/or strike, as needed Personal Relation Skills—Positively interact with people daily and be open to constructive criticism. Have a great attitude and good customer service skills. Speak, read, write and understand English fluently. Work well with others. Personal Responsibilities—Maintain a professional appearance. Have reliable transportation and be punctual. They must have a valid social security card and legal US working status. 4. Equipment to Be Used Heavy duty base plate carts, pallet-jack, ladder, dolly Box Truck and various Quest Furniture 5. Typical Physical Demands—Able to lift 62lbs and work on a step ladder without exceeding maximum weight allowance. Able to stand or walk for 8 hours per day. 6. Typical Mental Demands—Problem solve and prioritize needs while on jobsites. Do simple math calculations and think logically. Analyze information and perform needed actions to fulfill duties. Able to handle traffic stress, team dynamics, and customer service issues daily.
