Concrete Subcontractor Looking for Laborer Small concrete construction company looking to add a laborer as a team member. General responsibilities will include moving heavy material to, from, and on job-sites. We use plywood, 16 foot dimensional lumber, bags of concrete, heavy metal brackets. A huge part of the job will be carrying material. Please be coordinated, as not all sites are easy to maneuver. As well as moving material, your job will include digging dirt, wheel barrowing concrete, and assisting in concrete forming and pouring. Experience is not necessary, but coordination and physical ability is. There is room for growth with this position, as we are a small company. Drivers license and a car is necessary – we work in Rhode Island and Massachusetts, and will expect you to be able to get to job-sites. Scheduling can be uneven and this requires some flexibility on your end, hence having your own vehicle. All payroll is on the books. Flexible schedule is a plus, this position is somewhere between part and full-time for now. Most work is between the hours of 6:30am and 4:00pm – but days can also start early and end late. OSHA 10 is not required immediately, but will be important after hiring. General knowledge of construction and job-sites is a plus. Use of hand tools / power tools is a plus. Since we are a small team, you will be helping to install forms, braces, etc. You will be instructed and taught how to do this. Please send a resume and we will contact you as soon as possible.
