Bushel Boy Farms is looking for a Production Worker to come join our facility located in Mason City! Monday thru Saturday with the hours of operations varying by season and workload; schedule 5:00am -1:30pm or until the work is done, and holidays base on operational needs. We are proud to offer: Year-Round Indoor Work Monday- Friday Schedule With Overtime Available Full benefits coverage including medical, dental and vision Generous 401K Paid time off Life Insurance Opportunity to work in a high-tech, state of the art facility Stability of a 174-year-old company with the opportunity to grow your career You will be responsible for: DELEAF - Using designated equipment, ensure that the correct amount of leaves is carefully removed without causing damage to plant Examine plants and surroundings, keeping area clean and free of weeds and bottom suckers Load empty boxes and unload full boxes onto pallets and reload cart with empty boxes/packing trays Maintain a clean and organized greenhouse Ensure that all equipment (picking carts, etc.) are kept clean and report any problems to crew leader Attend safety meetings and training sessions as directed Other duties as assigned Things you will need: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Ability to work holidays and overtime as business needs Ability to lift 35lbs regularly Ability to work in wet or humid conditions Attention to detail About us: Bushel Boy Farms is a year-round grower of fresh, vine-ripened tomatoes and strawberries with a state-of-the-art research facility experimenting with additional varieties of produce.
