Full Time – Ranch Hand For Grass Fed Beef Finishing – Cow Calf Ranch Based in Turlock, CA with ranches in Catheys Valley and Gilroy, CA Responsibilities include - Day to day ranching operations, cattle hauling, building and maintaining fences, cattle/pasture rotation, gathering and sorting finished cattle. Also pasture and range management, stock water supply, pasture irrigation, herd health and nutrition. Some riding. 30% horseback. Company Vehicle while on the job or we pay mileage rate on your vehicle Ideal candidate 3 years livestock experience (beef cattle), fence maintenance, hauling livestock, horsemanship, education and experience in range management, some mechanical work. Can work as a team with owners or on your own. Ability to plan and prioritize tasks for efficiency Must have: a clean driving record, be able to lift 50 pounds, be a self-starter and willing to learn all phases of a grass-fed beef operation.
