Our golden mix needs a new home, for various reasons we don't think we are his best home any more. He is a lovely dog, good temperament. Barks when someone comes to the door, and has never bitten anyone :) (very convincing guard dog, though) Good with kids, STRONG preference for women. Would be an ideal companion for a woman who is home a lot. I am a SAHM, and I do not need him underfoot. I tolerate him, because he's a good dog, but the intention was a dog for the kids. He follows me everywhere. Surely someone out there would love that instead of roll their eyes at it! Easy to walk. Is very sensitive to grain, has to have the grain free food, and treats have to be clean, too. Neighbors feed him their cheap treats, and I know it's out of love, but it's diarrhea every time. Did recently have an eye infection that has clearly completely, but seems to have developed a cataract in that eye. We don't do shots - he is such a sensitive dog, and when he came to us had high anxiety, we just don't want to mess with the progress. Doesn't liked to be watched while eating. He's really a great companion animal, no issues or ongoing health issues beyond diet. Hoping I can find someone as delighted to be followed everywhere as he is to follow someone everywhere. Happy to let you meet him. Will come with food and leash, wireless fence if you want it.
