Get a Better Job at Industrial Source and Make Things Happen! Industrial Source is now hiring a full time Class A Cryogenic Bulk Tanker-Truck Driver to complete our Portland Team. Shift is 4 days/week, 40 hours total. Schedule option of TH, Fri, Sat, Sun or Sat, Sun, Mon, Tues. Weekly hours also flexible with four 10-hour days or two 12-hour days and two 8-hour days. No overnight travel, return home nightly. Position will drive a Class A tractor-tanker combination to transport cryogenic liquid nitrogen, oxygen and/or argon to assigned branches and customer locations throughout Western Oregon and Southwest Washington. The driver will make 5-6 deliveries and one pick-up per day, driving an average of 150 miles per day and working up to 8-12 hours per day. Approximately 75 percent of the driver's time is spent driving. Position requires the ability to safely operate the bulk tanker filling system to load and off load product. Ability to lift and exert up to 60 pounds of force for connecting hoses or turning valves and reasonable manual dexterity for pushing, turning, and/or pulling of controls and valves. Perform pre & post trip inspections to identify any maintenance that may be required and communicate appropriately if action is needed. Operate all equipment per company and/or manufacturer guidelines to maximize equipment life cycle and minimize maintenance costs. Complete and submit reports as required by DOT and/or our company. Previous experience as cryogenic tank driver preferred but not required. Position is based out of our Portland branch. Class A with tanker, hazmat and airbrakes endorsements required, current medical card, and safe driving record. Don’t have a CDL? We will train the right candidate. Must be at least 21 years of age. Skills needed: safe driving, pro-active communication, teamwork, customer service, attention to detail, and commitment to accuracy of data.
