Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays. We are currently open Wednesday, Thursday, Friday Saturday & some Sunday. Responsibilities The Server/Bartender will perform the following tasks including any additional tasks that may be requested by management when needed. The duties and responsibilities listed below are subject to change per business needs. • Provide friendly, appealing customer service at all times • Maintain a clean and neat personal appearance per dress code guidelines • Take prompt and accurate food and drink orders • Sell alcohol with the understanding and ability to spiel all liquors, beers and wines • Follow all state laws regarding the sale of alcohol • Check all identification before serving customers to ensure proper age • Pour beer or wine and mix consistent cocktails quickly • Deliver food, drinks, silverware and condiments to guests dining in the bar/dining room area • Monitor all guests’ needs while they are dining in the bar/dining room area • Keep careful track of tabs and ring up customers and close tabs correctly • Assist guests with any problems or complaints • Clear empty and dirty glasses/dishes, and garbage from the bar, dining room & bar tables as needed • Maintain a clean bar and bar area at all times including cleaning glassware behind the bar, polishing glassware, and bringing dirty dishes to the dish pit. • Complete nightly inventory when needed • Sweep dining room area when needed, reset all dining room tables after each guests • Keep the bar well stocked • Participate in staff meetings Qualifications Required Experience • Minimum of 1 year of experience as Bartender in a restaurant or bar • Minimum of 1 year customer service or hospitality experience Required Education and Training • High School diploma or equivalent • Current Florida Bartending License (optional) Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities • Knowledge of various liquors, beers, and wines • Knowledge in bartending best practices • Knowledge in state laws surrounding the sale of alcoholic beverages • Knowledge in food handling procedures and best practices • Knowledge and ability to safely use and maintain equipment • Knowledge of inventory procedures • Excellent customer service skills to communicate with guests in a polite and professional manner • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to read, speak, and write in English • Ability to pour beer or wine and mix consistent cocktails quickly • Ability to pay attention to detail • Ability to multi-task • Ability to remain cool under pressure • Ability to problem solve and provide suggestions to guests • Ability to maintain a safe and clean work area • Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays Start immediately if hired, flexible work schedule available.
